Dr. Daniel Eyvazzadeh is an Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society graduate of Jefferson Medical College. He completed his training and one year of research in General Surgery at the University Of Maryland Medical Center. This was followed by fellowship training in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of Minnesota.
While specializing in all aspects of diseases relating to the colon and rectum, his interests include minimally invasive surgery for abdominal diseases as well as techniques to avoid abdominal surgery for rectal lesions. These include transanal endoscopic microsurgery (TEM) as well as traditional transanal excision. His other interests include diseases of the pelvic floor and incontinence and he is certified in the placement of the InterStim® device for sacral neuromodulation, recently FDA approved for fecal incontinence.
Dr. Eyvazzadeh is an active staff member at St. Luke’s University Health Network and St. Luke’s University Health Network Bethlehem, Anderson, and Miner’s, Muhlenberg Hospital. He is a member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, and the American Medical Association.”
